Terms of use
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who signs in to the LMS. The service is run by LMS and provided to your organization under a license agreement, which covers everything between LMS and your organization. How personal data is handled is in the privacy notice.
1. What the service is for
The LMS is where your organization sets training, where you complete it, and where completion and certificates are recorded. Use it for your work and the training your organization gives you.
2. Your account
- Your organization creates your account by inviting you. It decides your role and what you can see.
- Your account is yours alone. Don't share your password or let anyone else take training or quizzes for you.
- After five wrong passwords in a row your account locks for 15 minutes. You are signed out after a period without activity.
- If you think someone has used your account, change your password and tell your administrator or support@lms.example straight away.
3. Your training record
- What you complete, your quiz scores, the work you hand in and the certificates you earn form an official record your organization relies on.
- Quizzes and final tests must be your own work. Your organization can see attempts, scores and, where it turns monitoring on, how often you left a quiz page.
- Certificates can be checked by anyone you share the link or code with. Your organization can revoke a certificate issued in error.
4. Course material
Courses, documents and videos belong to your organization or whoever it licensed them from. Don't copy or share them outside your organization unless it allows you to.
5. AI features
Where your organization turns them on, AI features draft course material for staff to review and answer questions from your course material. Answers can be wrong; the course itself is what counts. Your content isn't used to train AI models.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use the service to break the law, upload malware, or harass anyone.
- Don't try to reach records you haven't been given access to, or test the service's security without written permission.
- Breaking these rules can lead to your access being suspended and to action under your organization's own policies.
7. Availability and help
The service is backed up and monitored, and planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. For help with your training, ask your administrator. For problems with the service itself, write to support@lms.example.
8. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told when you next sign in.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
